Hanoi police have seized $34 million worth of assets belonging to Nguyen Hoa Binh, the chairperson of Vietnamese technology company NextTech, in a cryptocurrency fraud case. The seized items include 597 gold bars, 18 property title certificates and two vehicles. Binh and nine others face charges of fraudulent misappropriation of assets and accounting violations related to the AntEx cryptocurrency project. Police allege that Binh and his associates sold money to 30,000 investors in 2021.
