Alfa-Bank has reportedly begun testing cryptocurrency trading with qualified investors and may expand the service to retail clients in the fourth quarter of 2026. According to NS3.AI, the pilot was conducted through Alfa-Investments and offered trading in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin, Tether USDt, USDC, and Zcash.
Dmitry Vitman said the bank plans to launch crypto services once digital asset legislation takes effect. A related bill passed its first reading in the State Duma in April 2026.
