U.K. flash PMI data for June indicated that economic growth could slow sharply over the coming quarters, according to an RBC Capital Markets analyst.
According to Jin10, RBC Capital Markets analyst Cathal Kennedy said in a report that the preliminary June PMI figures pointed to a significant cooling in growth in the next few quarters.
The U.K. flash composite PMI, which tracks activity in the services and manufacturing sectors, fell to 49.4 in June from 49.7 in May. The reading was also below the 50.3 average expectation from economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal.
