The Solana Mobile ecosystem token SKR could be released in January next year

Solana Mobile, a subsidiary of Solana Labs, said on Wednesday that SKR, the native token for its mobile device ecosystem, will be released in January 2026 next year. Solana Labs co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko also confirmed the news on X.
The total supply of SKR is 10 billion, designed to drive control, economic incentives and ownership in the ecosystem. The token economy model shows that 30% of the tokens will be airdropped and unlocked at launch, mainly for Seeker mobile phone users and active dApp users.
Seeker is a second-generation Android phone from Solana Mobile that comes pre-installed with Seed Vault hardware security solutions and a built-in dApp store.
More details on SKR's vision will be announced at the Breakpoint 2025 conference in Abu Dhabi from December 11 to 13.
