Aleo partners with Paxos Labs to launch stablecoin USAD
The Aleo Network Foundation has partnered with Paxos Labs to launch a privacy-focused USAD stablecoin. Aleo is a Layer1 permissionless blockchain that uses zero-knowledge proofs to enable private and compliant payments. Paxos Labs is owned by Paxos and is the issuer of PayPal's PYUSD and Global Dollar stablecoins. Aleo is backed by a16z, Softbank, and Coinbase Ventures, and participates in the Global Dollar Network partnership.
