Nasdaq-listed Aurelion buys $134 million TetherGold (XAUT)
Nasdaq-listed Prestige Wealth (soon to be renamed Aurelion) announced the purchase of Tether Gold (XAUT) for $134 million, following the completion of a $150 million financing led by Antalpha. Aurelion bought the tokens at an average price of $4,021.81 per XAUT. XAUT represents one ounce of physical gold per token, which can be exchanged for LBMA standard gold bars stored in Switzerland. Since its launch in 2020, Tether Gold has accumulated about 7 tons of physical gold reserves.
