US companies submit "AfterDark" bitcoin ETF, only holding coins when US stocks are closed
Nicholas Financial has filed with the US Securities and Exchange Commission to launch a new bitcoin ETF called the Nicholas Bitcoin and Treasuries AfterDark ETF (code: NGTH). The product will only buy bitcoins after the close of the US stock market and sell them before the opening of the next day. If approved, the ETF will introduce a "trading time lag" strategy to bitcoin investment products.
