According to Cointelegraph, Lomond School in Scotland will start accepting bitcoin for tuition fees from the autumn term of 2025, a first in the UK. The school has no plans to accept other cryptocurrencies or immediately convert bitcoin to legal tender. In the future, the school may establish a bitcoin vault, subject to community input.
