Golden Ten Futures, June 4, London Metal Exchange (LME) futures and options data show that speculators have increased the net long of LME aluminum by 1259 contracts to 137,109 contracts in the week ended May 31, the highest level in more than three weeks. Long-only long positions increased by 17,315 contracts to 843,589 contracts, the highest level in more than five weeks; short-only positions increased by 16,055 contracts to 706,480 contracts, the highest level in more than five weeks.
