Kraken Institutional is designed for users such as hedge funds and exchange traded fund issuers and was launched in the US in March by the San Francisco-based company. The privately held company expects to expand its services to more regions such as the European Union, Switzerland, the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands.
