French blockchain securities trading platform Kriptown announced the completion of 4.20 million Euro A round of financing, led by BNP Paribas, Bpifrance and Centilux Family Office, with BNP Paribas and Bpifrance becoming shareholders of the company. Kriptown plans to use the new funds to create a financial marekt based on blockchain technology, providing liquidity through the 24/7 secondary market to make up for the difficulties of SME equity financing. It is reported that Kriptown has now officially submitted an application for a DLT TSS (Trading and Settlement System) license to the French Prudential Regulation and Resolution Authority (ACPR) under the European DLT Pilot System.
