David Zimmerman, DeFi analyst at K33, said SUI could soon be a strong competitor to Solana. Sui's performance relative to Solana, combined with its architecture and upcoming console, could make it the number one contender in the "alternative L1". Solana has often competed for attention in the L1 wars, but SOL/ETH is up 6% since August, while SUI/SOL is up 115% over the same period.
While he concedes that much of Sui's recent outperformance could be down to broader "mispricing", David Zimmerman says Sui "certainly" has the right elements to support recent price increases.
