Coinbase表示，已在安大略省注册为加拿大证券管理机构（CSA）旗下的受限交易商。去年，加拿大推出了针对加密货币交易所的新准则，限制了某些投资者可以投资加密货币的金额，并对加密货币公司实行强制注册。Coinbase是第一个在加拿大接受限制经销商注册的国际加密货币交易所。
