SBI Holdings will form a management company dealing primarily with digital assets with asset manager Franklin Templeton by the end of this year. The United States has lifted a ban on exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that contain cryptoassets (virtual currencies) such as bitcoin, and Japan is also preparing to deregulate. The new company will hold 51% of SBI Holdings and 49% of Franklin Templeton.
