Amber Japan, the operator of crypto asset trading service WhaleFin, has changed its name to S. BLOX on July 1, 2024. S. BLOX, formerly known as Japanese exchange DeCurret, was acquired by a subsidiary of Singapore-based market maker Amber Group in February 2022 and subsequently by Quetta Web Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sony Group, in August 2023.
As a member of the Sony Group, S. BLOX plans to promote cooperation with the group's diverse businesses and is committed to creating new added value in crypto asset trading services.
