美国公民、前美国国税局特工Tigran Gambaryan在币安担任合规官，他于 2 月飞往尼日利亚，代表币安会见政府官员，但因洗钱和逃税等“捏造”罪名被关押在尼日利亚监狱近四个月。French Hill 表示，他计划在未来几天致电美国国务院人质事务总统特使Roger Carstens，就Gambaryan一案征求意见。
French Hill表示：“Tigran Gambaryan是尼日利亚政治斗争中的一枚棋子。他需要被带回他的归属地美国，然后币安才能和尼日利亚继续沟通。”
