The global refined copper market was oversupplied by 13,000 tons in April

Gold Ten Futures, June 21, according to foreign media reports, the International Copper Research Group (ICSG) released data show that in April 2024, the global refined copper market was oversupplied by 13,000 tons, and in March it was oversupplied by 123,000 tons; April refined copper production was 2.29 million tons, and consumption was 2.28 million tons. From January to April 2024, the global refined copper market was oversupplied by 299,000 tons, and the same period last year was oversupplied by 175,000 tons. After adjusting for inventory changes in China's bonded warehouses, the refined copper supply was oversupplied by 33,000 tons in April, compared with 136,000 tons in March.
