Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said companies that give up control of their AI data and metadata risk “outsourcing” their thinking and may no longer remain firms, according to BeInCrypto, in comments tied to a July 12 blog post on the “reverse information paradox.” He said firms should retain metadata from every model interaction and keep the harness, context and memory separate from any single model so they can use several models and stay in control if one disappears. Nadella also said AI may require new buyer protections, beyond patents, copyrights and trademarks.
