NewGenIVF Group, listed on Nasdaq under the ticker NIVF, has signed an agreement to acquire an additional 3% stake in K25.ai at a $250 million valuation, increasing its holding from 10% to 13%. According to ChainCatcher, the transaction is valued at about $7.5 million and NewGen plans to issue about 2.5 million Class A ordinary shares as part of the payment.
Following the issuance, the company’s total outstanding shares are expected to rise to about 5.9 million, with its market value potentially increasing to more than $5 million. The move may help NewGen meet Nasdaq’s market value listing requirements.
Based on the latest valuation, NewGen’s earlier $10 million investment in K25.ai now corresponds to an estimated book value of about $25 million. K25.ai is described as an AI-native live-streaming and information marketplace platform that recently completed community testing and is expanding in the Asia-Pacific region.
