Naver, Brookfield and Nvidia Plan 200 MW South Korea AI Factory Expansion

Naver, Brookfield and Nvidia have announced a plan to expand the Nvidia DSX AI factory at the GAK Sejong data center in South Korea from an initial 55 megawatts to 200 megawatts by 2028, according to Jiemian News. Under the agreement, Nvidia will invest $1 billion in Naver, while Brookfield has signed a non-binding term sheet to provide up to $9 billion in financing. Naver will fund the remaining portion of the project. The expanded infrastructure is intended to provide production-grade AI computing capacity for innovators in South Korea and the United States to build next-generation models, agents and AI-driven services.
