CITIC Construction Investment said Intel's second-quarter 2026 earnings showed the fastest quarterly revenue growth in 15 years, driven by strong hyperscaler and enterprise demand that made data center and AI businesses the main growth engines. According to Jiemian News, Intel expects to further increase capital expenditure to meet strong CPU demand from downstream compute investment.

The report also said AMD raised its medium- and long-term total addressable market target at a conference, while new product mass production is accelerating and the CPU cycle remains strong. It added that SK Group and Nvidia reached a $500 billion cooperation agreement focused on R&D for next-generation AI memory solutions and long-term supply, improving visibility on upstream capacity expansion. CITIC Construction Investment said the strength of the AI hardware chain continues to show through ongoing model iteration and application rollout, and it remains bullish on GPUs, CPUs, memory, high-speed networking, and compute leasing services.
