Iranian Official: Caspian-Route Iranian Merchant Ship Attacked, Leaving 1 Dead and 3 Injured

According to Jin10, Gilan Province Governor Hadi Haqshenas said an Iranian merchant ship was attacked in an anchorage outside the Volga River route to the Caspian Sea, killing one person and injuring three. He said the ship was carrying cargo including steel and was sailing from Russia's Astrakhan Port to Iran's Anzali Port. The attack completely destroyed the ship's bridge, leaving it unable to continue sailing. He did not say what kind of attack the vessel faced, and Iranian authorities are investigating the incident.
