Nvidia and Seoul National University Set Up Joint AI Research Center in South Korea

Nvidia announced on July 25 that it is working with Seoul National University to establish the Nvidia AI Technology Center (NVAITC). According to Jin10, the two sides plan to use the center to focus on AI research, expert training, and education programs, with joint research covering foundation models, accelerated computing, physical AI, and scientific AI. They will also explore ways to build computing infrastructure to support large-scale AI research and plan to use Nvidia's open AI model, NVIDIA Nemotron, and its world foundation model, Cosmos, in related research.
