Bankr Developer Urges Users to Enable MFA Inside Bankr Accounts After X Account Breach

Bankr developer deployer urged all Bankr users to enable multi-factor authentication inside their Bankr accounts, saying MFA on X or other social login accounts alone is not enough to protect funds. According to ChainCatcher, deployer said Bankr's X account was previously compromised and used to post a fake airdrop link, despite the account having device-side passkey protection. The developer added that a request was made to X to remove the fraudulent post and that an investigation is being assisted to determine how the account was breached.
