Trader Killa said about 80% of cycle-top indicators were never triggered during the last Bitcoin bull market, suggesting bottom indicators could also fail in future cycles and should not be used mechanically to identify a market floor. According to ChainCatcher, the amount of long-term holder supply in loss has now exceeded levels seen during the FTX collapse and is close to 2018 bear market levels.

Killa said Bitcoin's realized price is currently around $50,000, and in past cycles the market has tested long-term holder realized price, leaving open the possibility of a return to that range. He added, however, that Bitcoin should not be assumed to fall back to that level. He said the current degree of market losses is already similar to the periods around the FTX event and the 2018 bear market.
