A joint study by ACCA and CA ANZ found that 93% of finance professionals believe AI-generated business insights face issues including hallucinations, analytical errors, incomplete data, lack of transparency and bias, undermining their credibility and verifiability, according to Ming Pao.
The report, titled Enabling Finance Insight, also said finance teams are increasing their use of real-time operational data, with more than 60% of respondents having raised usage over the past two years to improve business insight and support decision-making.
