World Labs, the artificial intelligence company founded by Fei-Fei Li, has acquired robotics company SceniX for an undisclosed amount. According to ChainCatcher, SceniX will join the World Labs team after the deal.
World Labs said robotics is an important vehicle for bringing spatial intelligence into the real world, and that future robot systems need environmental perception, spatial understanding, behavioral reasoning, and reliable execution. The two sides plan to combine their strengths in spatial modeling and robotics technology to expand application scenarios.
