World Labs, the artificial intelligence company founded by Fei-Fei Li, has acquired robotics company SceniX. The amount of the acquisition was not disclosed. According to Odaily, SceniX will join the World Labs team after the deal.
World Labs said robots are an important vehicle for bringing spatial intelligence into the real world. The company said future robot systems need environmental perception, spatial understanding, behavioral reasoning, and reliable execution capabilities. World Labs and SceniX plan to combine their strengths in spatial modeling and robotics to support more applications.
