Binance to Suspend Zcash Network Deposits and Withdrawals for Upgrade and Hard Fork

According to the announcement from Binance, starting at approximately 2026-07-28 12:00 (UTC), the exchange will suspend deposits and withdrawals of token(s) on the Zcash (ZEC) network to support a network upgrade and hard fork. The upgrade and hard fork are scheduled to take place at block height 3,428,143, or approximately at 2026-07-28 13:00 (UTC). Binance said trading of token(s) on the Zcash network will not be impacted during the maintenance period, and it will handle the technical requirements involved for all users. Deposits and withdrawals will be reopened once the upgraded network is deemed stable. The announcement did not specify any change to trading services, but confirmed that the suspension applies only to deposits and withdrawals on the affected network. Binance also stated that no further announcement will be posted after the service is restored. The notice was issued as a general announcement, and products and services referenced may not be available in all regions.
