Kioxia Holdings Corporation (285A) shares have fallen 42% this month after sliding to a low of ¥52,110 last Friday, even as Wall Street analysts still see about 118% upside from Tuesday’s close. The stock rebounded nearly 9% to ¥55,860 on Tuesday, July 21, after hitting a record ¥111,250 on June 22, when it briefly became Japan’s largest company by market cap, overtaking Toyota, according to BeInCrypto, but some analysts still argue AI-driven demand remains intact. Kioxia is not the only volatile chip name in Asia, with the broader selloff erasing trillions of yen in market value this month.
