Foresight News reported that Ostium, an RWA trading platform on Arbitrum, said its team is working to restart the platform this week. According to Foresight News, its auditor, third-party cybersecurity experts, and engineering team are conducting final checks.
When trading resumes, open positions will be re-marked at the live market price at the time of recovery. Positions will not be liquidated because of price movements during the suspension, but any position already below the liquidation threshold at the time of restart will be liquidated. Open orders will remain unchanged.
For affected liquidity providers, the team is working on a recovery plan. Ostium Labs said it plans to contribute from its own balance sheet and work with both new and existing partners. It said more details will be announced as soon as possible.
