Portland Timbers have reportedly chosen former Leicester manager Martí Cifuentes as their next head coach, according to Yahoo Sports reported and The Athletic's Tom Bogert. The MLS club are expected to complete the handoff from interim manager Jack Cassidy after Cifuentes receives his visa, with Cassidy having taken over after Phil Neville's departure in the spring. The Timbers sit 11th in the West after conceding 29 goals in 14 games, and they beat Seattle Sounders 5-1 on Thursday under Cassidy.
