Pakistan's Foreign Ministry held a press briefing on Monday, calling on the United States and Iran to stop military conflict and resume technical-level talks as soon as possible. According to Jin10, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Andarabi said at the regular briefing that, as hostilities escalated over the past week, Pakistan again urged all parties to exercise maximum restraint and avoid any further actions that would undermine regional peace and stability.
He said Pakistan has always believed there is no alternative to sustained engagement, dialogue, and diplomacy in pursuing lasting peace, stability, and development. He also said all conflicts and disputes must ultimately be resolved through dialogue, and that the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding signed by the United States and Iran last month remains a lasting framework for promoting peace, mutual respect, and shared prosperity.
