According to CNBC, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov in a surprise move as he carried out his fourth major government reshuffle since Russia's full-scale invasion began. Fedorov confirmed the dismissal on Wednesday in a social media post and said it had been a great honor to serve the Ukrainian people. Ukraine's parliament speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said Serhiy Koretsky, the chief executive of state-owned energy company Naftogaz, was nominated as the country's next prime minister after parliament accepted the resignation of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko. Zelenskyy said Sunday that Ukraine is changing its political strategy and that each foreign policy priority area would be assigned to a person with substantial experience.
