The U.S. Senate has passed a resolution opposing any pardon or sentence reduction for FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried (SBF) and said he should not receive clemency under any circumstances. According to Foresight News, the measure also states that SBF, who was convicted in a crypto fraud case, should not receive a presidential pardon, commutation, or any other form of federal leniency.
According to Foresight News, the resolution was previously introduced by Republican Senator Cynthia Lummis and Democratic Senator Rubén Gallego.
