Sovereign Labs has been deeply involved in the Celestia ecosystem since 2021, providing underlying support for projects such as cross-chain bridge Relay Protocol and high-performance perpetual contract trading platform Bullet.
The acquisition extends Celestia Labs' technical capabilities from Layer 1 to the execution and application layers, positioning it as a full-stack custom blockchain development partner for enterprises. The move comes amid growing demand for full-stack blockchain infrastructure, as projects like Hyperliquid, Polymarket, and Robinhood have chosen to build their own chains.
