The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) announced that a rule change submitted by the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on July 6 has taken effect immediately. According to ChainCatcher, the change raises the position and exercise limits for BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF IBIT options from 250,000 contracts to 1 million contracts. The move aims to accommodate the rapidly growing trading volume of IBIT options and enhance market liquidity and market-making capacity.
