According to Jin10, Madison Faller, global investment strategist at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, stated that investors should look beyond tech giants and consider the entire artificial intelligence supply chain. "The AI story is not confined to a single industry; we are really focused on capital-intensive and hard-to-replace assets," she said, specifically mentioning semiconductors, infrastructure, utilities, and industrials. Faller noted that strong earnings performance from tech companies can coexist with broader market profit growth. She added that in the current earnings season, profits are expected to grow in 10 of the 11 sectors covered by the S&P 500 Index. The J.P. Morgan team expects the S&P 500 Index to deliver nearly 10% total returns over the next year. They also expect mid-single-digit returns for European large-cap stocks. Faller emphasized that bank stocks are a noteworthy investment option in the region, given improving fundamentals and increased dividends and share buybacks.
