美国众议院通过法案永久固定夏令时

据《联合早报》报道，美国众议院7月14日以308票赞成、117票反对通过《阳光保护法案》，将夏令时永久固定。法案若获参议院通过，美国将全年采用夏令时，无需每年两次调整时钟。总统特朗普已公开敦促国会通过。但参议院前景不确定，共和党参议员科顿持反对意见，要求参议院多数党领袖图恩不要提请表决。多名两党参议员也表达反对。法案已提交至参议院审议。
