Zipline said it is accelerating its U.S. expansion and appointed Sendil Palani, a former Tesla vice president of finance, as chief financial officer, according to 36Kr. The drone delivery company also named former Waymo chief legal officer Kevin Vosen as chief legal officer and hired former Uber executive Allen Penn as head of commercial.
Zipline said the number of merchants offering delivery via the Zipline app in the first half of 2026 rose 13-fold year on year, and it plans to launch new operations in Austin, Texas, and Cleveland, Ohio.
