ENS Co-Founder Nick Johnson Proposes New Security Council Term Running Until July 16, 2028

ENS co-founder Nick Johnson has submitted a new on-chain executable proposal to establish a new Security Council with a term lasting until July 16, 2028.

According to Odaily, the proposal would be controlled by members elected under EP 6.50, and voting began the same day.

As of the report, the vote showed 712,350 in favor, 0 against, and 66,730 abstentions, for a total of 779,080 votes cast. The vote surpassed the quorum threshold of more than 1 million tokens.

Two weeks earlier, Johnson vetoed a proposal to renew the Security Council, using 80% of the voting power.
