Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock (6869) issued a profit alert, forecasting that net profit for the first half ended June 30 will surge 7.11 to 9.14 times year on year to about RMB 2.4 billion to RMB 3.0 billion, according to Ming Pao.
Excluding non-recurring gains and losses, after-tax net profit is expected at about RMB 2.0 billion to RMB 3.6 billion, up 13.49 to 17.84 times from a year earlier.
