An analyst said Apple received a semiconductor tariff exemption after committing to use Intel foundries.
According to Odaily, Citrini analyst Jukan wrote on X that The Wall Street Journal reported Apple obtained the exemption after making the commitment.
Jukan said Apple will produce Mac chips at Intel and will also manufacture iPhone chips there.
