Huawei’s global chief scientist for the public services industry, Gao Hongrong, said China’s extensive fixed-line and 5G infrastructure has laid an “expressway” for artificial intelligence applications, enabling the technology to be used in government services, healthcare, education and small and medium-sized enterprises, according to Ming Pao.
Speaking at the “LEAP East” forum, Gao said Huawei advocates a coordinated approach to planning and construction, spanning infrastructure, intelligent computing centers and data governance.
