Hisense Home Appliances said it has renamed its controlled subsidiary Qingdao Hisense Hitachi Air Conditioning Systems Co., Ltd. to Qingdao Hisense Bosch Air Conditioning Systems Co., Ltd.
According to Jin10, the company said the change was made because the controlling shareholder of its second-largest shareholder, Johnson Hitachi, changed to Bosch Group.
Hisense Home Appliances said the renaming does not involve any change to the equity structure and does not affect the company’s control rights. It added that after the renaming, Hisense Bosch will still hold authorization to use the Hitachi brand, and its core technology and research and development system will remain unchanged.
