On-chain investigator ZachXBT said multiple people have issued ZACHXBT meme coins across different blockchains over the past week using his name and likeness.
According to Foresight News, ZachXBT said he has never promoted any of the tokens and reiterated that he will never support or issue meme coins.
He added that any related tokens sent to his donation wallet have been sold on the market, and the proceeds were donated to charity.
ZachXBT said the donations totaled about $41,000 and were made via The Giving Block to Give Directly and Direct Relief to support earthquake relief efforts in Venezuela.
