STOCKS | Hyperliquid Whale Resumes S&P 500 Short After Prior $2 Million Loss, Monitor Says

A major S&P 500 index short-position whale on Hyperliquid, identified as Driscoll_Yewleaf, has resumed shorting the S&P 500 index over the past two days after previously recording losses, according to monitoring data.

According to Foresight News, Yu Jin’s monitoring said the address shorted the S&P 500 index one month ago and lost about $2 million.

The monitoring data said the address has again started shorting the S&P 500 index in the past two days, selling short SP500 worth $49 million at a price of $7,400.

It added that SP500 has since risen to $7,494, leaving the address with an unrealized loss of about $620,000.
