A South Korean government official said authorities are considering three possible timelines to pass a comprehensive digital asset law, ranging from the end of this year to 2028.

According to NS3.AI, Kwon Dae-young said the government’s earliest scenario would see the bill enacted by the end of this year.

Under a standard scenario, the government would aim to pass the legislation between June-August of next year. A delayed scenario would push passage back until 2028.
