Uniswap Labs hires former Coinbase executive as chief legal officer

Uniswap Labs has hired Katherine Minarik, the former head of legal at Coinbase, as its chief legal officer. Her appointment comes just two months after the Securities Exchange Commission (SEC) said it may take legal action against Uniswap Labs for alleged violations of federal securities laws. Minarik previously spent four years at Coinbase, most recently as vice president of legal affairs and deputy general counsel. She will succeed Marvin Ammori, the former chief legal officer at Uniswap Labs. Ammori said Monday that he plans to switch to a part-time job in November.
