ChiNext Index Falls Over 5% as Shanghai Composite Drops 1.51%

China’s ChiNext Index fell more than 5%, while the Shanghai Composite Index dropped 1.51% and the Shenzhen Component Index slid 3.14%, according to 36Kr. Declines were led by computing hardware, memory chips, brokerages and solar-related stocks, with nearly 2,700 stocks falling across the Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing exchanges.
